A meeting was held on 10 August 2026 at the request of the Chief Secretary of Uva Province to discuss the matters and issues arising in the implementation of Ditwah Recovery Programme as well as other related matters. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chairperson of the Finance Commission, with the participation of the Secretary of the Finance Commission and the Chief Secretary of Uva Province, together with other relevant officials of the Uva Provincial Council. Senior Officials from the Presidential Secretariat, Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Department of National Budget, Department of National Planning, Department of Treasury Operations, and Department of Management Services were also participated in the discussion
