]]> A discussion was held at the Finance Commission on 23^rd July 2025 regarding the project proposal submitted by the Western Provincial Council on “Promoting Bulathsinhala as a Tourist Destination through Infrastructure Development” under Special Development Projects.The meeting was co-chaired by the Secretary, Finance Commission and Chief Secretary, Western Province and the Deputy Chief Secretary (Planning), Deputy Chief Secretary (Finance), Divisional Secretary, Bulathsinhala Divisional Secretariat and other relevant officials of the Western Provincial Council and the Finance Commission were also participated in the discussion. The feasibility, effectiveness, and contribution of these activities for development of the tourism industry were discussed in detail during the meeting.
